    1. Santa Arrival and Holiday Lantern Parade

    Join the merriment at the City of Baltimore’s first-ever Community Lantern Parade along the Inner Harbor’s promenade. Festive lanterns, cascading ribbon trees, towering umbrellas, bands, illuminated stilt walkers, and costume characters will come together in a finale with live singing choirs to greet Santa’s arrival by boat.

    2. Winter Wonderland at West Shore Park(1pm to 5pm)

    Enjoy live music, games, arts and crafts, holiday stories and tasty treats. Create your own festive lantern in the Lantern Making Workshop for the Community Lantern Parade.

  • Veterans Day(Parade) celebration – Bel Air Armory, Bel Air, MD – Video

    The major celebration is at 10 AM on Friday, November 11, 2011 in front of the Armory. A parade featuring a military band and Color Guard detachments from numerous organizations, as well as the National Guard initiated the ceremony which includes music, speakers, a reading of “In Flanders Fields” and a National Guard fly over ceremony.

    DockDogs Competition (fee to compete)

    Canine contestants are invited to take a leap! Dogs, 6 months and older, are judged on the distance they can jump from the dock into a pool of water. The contest includes six divisions ranging from Novice (an under 10 foot leap) to Super Elite (an over 25 foot leap).
