    Celebrated our nations Independence Day with thousands of parade onlookers! Came early, reserved spot, and joined in the fun while watching whimsical floats, fantastic giant balloons, and marching bands. There are few surprises too! Parade kicked off at 10 AM and preceded by the singing of our National Anthem and a flyover.

    The Fremont 4th of July Parade Committee is a non-profit, 501c3 organization whos mission is to plan and coordinate a 4th of July parade and celebration for and by the citizens of Fremont and surrounding cities. The parade and related events are completely funded by community sponsorship and donations.

    The parade begins at the Fremont Library, continues north on Paseo Padre Boulevard toward the new downtown area of Fremont and ends at Capital Avenue.

    17-Mile Drive is widely recognized as one of the most scenic drives in the world. The famous coastal landmark runs through Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach, from the dramatic Pacific coastline to the majestic Del Monte Forest.

    The awe-inspiring vistas and legendary sites can easily fill an entire day with exploration and discovery, although visitors with less time should not miss the opportunity to experience this wondrous journey as well.

    Many locations along the Drive have starred in motion pictures including National Velvet with Elizabeth Taylor, The Caddie with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, One Eyed Jack with Karl Malden and Marlon Brando, and Escape to Witch Mountain (Disney).

    In 2001, long-time students of Baba Hari Dass returned from India with a beautiful Hanuman murti. When Babaji saw the statue, he wrote on his board – It needs a Temple. He promptly walked to the Centers rustic ceremonial site, scratched out a location for the Temple with his foot and the digging began.

    The Prana Pratishṭa ceremony, -establishing the breath- within the sacred image, was performed in 2003.

    Reservations are required on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

    The Travis Air Force Base Air Show is a two day event took place on Saturday and Sunday. On both days, all static displays were accessible and the dynamic displays were the same.

    Date: Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7
    Show Time: 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    Gates open at 9:30 a.m.
    Admission: Free, open to the public

    The highlight of the event is a performance by the U.S. Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron – The Thunderbirds! These talented pilots conduct precision aerial maneuvers demonstrating the capabilities of Air Force high performance aircraft to people throughout the world. In addition, several static military aircraft will be available for public viewing/tours.
