The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Washington Dulles International Airport is the companion facility to the Museum on the National Mall. The building opened in December, 2003, and provides enough space for the Smithsonian to display the thousands of aviation and space artifacts that cannot be exhibited on the National Mall. The two sites together showcase the largest collection of aviation and space artifacts in the world.

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is hosting the 26th annual spooky Halloween tradition, ZooBOOO! This year’s ZooBOOO! will take place on October 23rd, 24th and 25th from 10:00AM – 4:00PM.
The event is FREE for Zoo members and FREE with paid general Zoo admission, although some activities do require an additional fee.
ZooBOOO! will take place this year in the Wicked Waterfowl Lake Pavilion and feature THREE special themed areas: Farmville, Pirate’s Cove, and Sweet Grove. Enjoy carnival games, crafts, magic shows, costume contests, delicious food (think candy apples, fried Oreos, funnel cakes, chicken tenders, nachos and more!) and, of course, FREE trick-or-treating!
