Shiva Vishnu Temple(Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center) of San Diego was established in the year 2000 to serve the devotional cultural and spiritual needs of the San Diego community in accordance with distinctly Vedic traditions. One of the main focus of the temple is to foster Hindu values among the children and youths living in this country and create an awareness among them of Indias eternal and priceless spiritual heritage and richness of our cultural traditions.

Shri Saibaba of Shirdi lived between 1838 and 1918, whose real name, birthplace and date of birth are not known. An Indian spiritual guru and a fakir , Saibaba of Shirdi was regarded with great reverence by both Hindu and Muslim followers. He lived in a mosque and after death his body was cremated in a temple. Both temples are next to each other.
