    Four miles of broad, sandy beaches stretch out to welcome visitors to Half Moon Bay. This picturesque setting is ideal for sunbathing, fishing and picnicking. A campground provides accommodations for those who wish to visit longer.

    The beach is located a half-mile west of Highway 1 with 3 parking lots in the City of Half Moon Bay. The three parking and beach access points are Francis Beach, Venice Beach and Dunes Beach. The Ocean – Always use caution when you are in or near the ocean. The ocean water is very cold year round.

Vodarevu beach is fairly famous with tourists regularly, this too is a nice getaway from the movement and hustle of city life. There is a constant inflow of tourists spending their weekends in these peaceful settings as the place is very nice to visit and for relaxation.

    Vodarevu beach makes quite a nice weekend hideout and has got quite a good share of tourist inflow, mainly because of its peaceful setting.

  • Silver Sands State Park beach, Milford, CT, US – Video

    State Park acquisition, ultimately involving over 300 parcels, began after hurricane “Diane” destroyed 75 homes in 1955. Early vision of the park was to create a “Hammonasset” type sand beach backed by parking lots on filled wetlands. The present master plan seeks to return the site to its historic past of interior tidal wetlands separated from the Sound by sand dunes.
