  • The Flag Day and FireWorks at Fort McHenry, Baltimore, MD, US – Video

    This ceremony will take place at the main event stage in between the Star Fort and the statue of Orpheus. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the ceremony will include the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and performances by Maryland Sings, Angela Hart, the Show Time Singers, the Chorus of the Chesapeake, and the Morgan State University Chorus. At dark, there will be fireworks by Zambelli. All times and performances are subject to change or cancellation.

    Join Baltimore residents and visitors alike to celebrate the “Stars and Stripes” at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic
    Shrine. The celebration includes fireworks and live music.

    There was a free shuttle at M&T Bank Stadium for the general public to Fort McHenry.

    Star-Spangled 200, Inc. is the not-for-profit entity that supports the fundraising goals of the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission.

    The American Flag Foundation, Inc. (National Flag Day Foundation) was chartered in 1982 as a non-profit organization to ensure that the true meaning of the American Flag is recognized.

    The American Flag Foundation is pleased to co-sponsor the Flag Day celebration with the National Park Service, and very happy to be back to Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine!

    The United States is a nation of immigrants. Throughout our history, immigrants have come here seeking a better way of life and have strengthened our Nation in the process.

    They extended heartfelt congratulations to some of America’s newest citizens to be naturalized here today on the hallowed grounds of Fort McHenry.
