    Businesses and organizations sponsor teams that practice for 8 weeks at Lighthouse Point in Canton for the day-long series of races at the Inner Harbor on September 8, 2012.

    1. Santa Arrival and Holiday Lantern Parade

    Join the merriment at the City of Baltimore’s first-ever Community Lantern Parade along the Inner Harbor’s promenade. Festive lanterns, cascading ribbon trees, towering umbrellas, bands, illuminated stilt walkers, and costume characters will come together in a finale with live singing choirs to greet Santa’s arrival by boat.

    2. Winter Wonderland at West Shore Park(1pm to 5pm)

    Enjoy live music, games, arts and crafts, holiday stories and tasty treats. Create your own festive lantern in the Lantern Making Workshop for the Community Lantern Parade.
