    Strictly Sail Pacific returned to Oaklands Jack London Square April 9-12, 2015 for a 4-day celebration of all things sailing. This year show features a two floor indoor Exhibit Hall, with even more exhibitors from around the world, and a showcase of beautiful boats both in and out of the water. Boats of every size and for every budget will be on display, including high-end yachts, multihulls, sleek racers and fun daysailers.

    Jack London (Jan 12, 1876 – Nov 22, 1916) was an American author who wrote The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and The Sea Wolf along with many other popular books.

    Jack London spent much of his boyhood on the waterfront that is now Jack London Square. Here, his youthful adventures as an oyster pirate and sailor inspired stories like The Sea-Wolf. Visit the life sized bronze stature of Jack London standing watch over the waterfront at the foot of Broadway. This bronze sculpture was created by artist Cedric Wentworth.
