    Joined for a first of its kind – Lord Jagannathas Childrens Ratha Yatra- on Sunday, July 19th from 11:30 am onwards. This a very special event where the children drove the whole event. The cart pulled by children, the kirtans performed by children and offerings to their Lordships Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra also done by children.

    They conducted a Vedic/Indian fancy dress competition also for the children. Sree Sudarshana Homa performed before the Ratha Yatra.

    They also had a very special guest Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard visited on that day. Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party who has been the United States Representative for Hawaiis second congressional district since 2013.

    At Sunnyvale temple Sri Rama Navami celebrated with the following events. All devotees are enjoyed this event and got the blessings of Sri Sita Rama Bhagwan.

    10.00 AM – Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam procession starts
    11.00 AM – Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam
    01:30 PM – Maha Mangala Arati, Theertha and Prasadam
    01:45 PM – Kalyana Bhojanam (Lunch)

    We celebrated Sita Rama kalyanam in our Amreican city like in Andhra. If you are busy and did not get time to see that, at least now you could remember our Rama. Enjoy our city Lord Rama celebrations.

    తెలుగు కమ్మదనాన్ని ఆస్వాదించాలి అంటే ఆంధ్రా వెళ్ళాల్సిన పని లేదు అమెరికా నుండి, ఒక్కసారి సిలికానాంద్ర కార్యక్రమానికి వచ్చి చూడండి. పంచె కట్టు, ఓణీలు, కవితలు, ఛలోక్తులు, పల్లె పాటలు, జానపదాలు, ఎన్నో ఎన్నెన్నో . . .ఉచిత ప్రవేశము మరియు పసందైన భోజనము తో కలిపి. నిజం, వచ్చి చూడండి.  మనము అక్కడ వీక్షకులము కాదు, కుటుంబ సభ్యులము.

    10am-4pm – Kids competition related to Telugu language

    5pm-8.30pm – Panchanga Sravanamu, Kavi Sammelanam, Ugadi songs

    Free entry and traditional telugu meals.

    Rajaneegandham – folks songs by Balantrapu Rajanikanta Rao. He is a well-known writer, composer and poet in the Telugu language. He has won several national and state level awards for his work.

    Excellent program for telugu language lovers.

    It is a big festival for Telugu folks in Bay area on Saturday, MAR 14 2015, 5.30PM to 9PM because of Ugadi Mela and its related programs. So many telugu people attended and enjoyed the best comedy skits and dance programmes along with Indian food. TANA members also attended for this great event.

    Sunnyvale Hindu Temple was established in 1992. First Puja was performed on Feb 10th 1993. The most popular Hindu religious center in Bay Area, California and a very active community Center.

    The facility includes a Temple that can accommodate 980+ devotees and a community center auditorium with nearly 1000 members capacity. Smaller venues of 130+ and 20+ people accommodation for religious activities are located within the temple premises.

    Annual festivals of Holi, Diwali and Navaratri are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm at the temple and festivals of different regions of India are also celebrated, eg: Ugadi, Jagannath Rath yatra, Durga Puja, Murugan Puja, etc.

    The Auditorium has hosted numerous functions and festival of all Indian groups based in Bay Area.
