    This TANA meet and greet is arranged by Sateesh Vemuri, who is contesting for Regional Representative for TANA West. Sateesh Vemuri invited all TANA lovers to join Meet and Greet at Peacock Banquet Hall, 556 S Milpitas Blvd, Milpitas, CA on Sunday, March 15th from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM. TANA representatives and BATA management and all supporters participated for this meet and greet.

    Satish Vemana, Madhu Tata, Murali Vennam, Ravi Potluri, Jayaram Komati also participaged in this event. From BATA team, Kalyan Kattamuri, Yaswanth Kudaravalli, HariKrishna Nallamala, Sumanth Pusuluri, Vijaya Aasuri, etc also participated. TANA members, who are contesting in elections, shared their future views and ideas.

    Many folks attended and enjoyed by celebrating Holi, the -Festival of Colors- at Cardoza Park in Milpitas on Saturday, March 7th from 11 am to 6 pm.

    This is the Holi with biodegradable, skin-friendly, organic colors. Joined thousands of people to sprinkle colors and spread cheers with friends and family. Enjoyed delicious food, dazzling musical and cultural extravaganza and danced to the beats of Desi Dhol and DJ.This free event is organized by Fremont temple and FIA. The admission and also the parking is FREE.

    At Christmas in the Park this year, you could expect some very special events to help make your holidays magical. They start things off each Wednesday with their special movie nights featuring Polar Express, Home Alone, White Christmas, and Miracle on 34th Street (1994).

    Saturday December 6th from Noon until 3pm Unleashed by Petco presents Dog Day at the Park – where you can bring your furry friends to visit with Santa.

    On Saturday December 13 they have their annual Breakfast with Santa event at the Fairmont from 9am-12pm and also holding Toys for Tots -Stuff the Bus- event from 8am-5pm.

    On Sunday the 14th the third annual TiVo – Santa Run Silicon Valley. New Years Eve at the park is also very special this year as they present Disneys Frozen followed by a live performance by SAGE.

    The Great Dickens Christmas Fair is a one-of-a-kind holiday adventure into Victorian London – an elaborate party with hundreds of costumed players performing and interacting with patrons in over 120,000 square feet of theatrically-lit music halls, pubs, dance floors, and Christmas shops.

    Dozens of lamplit shops are filled to overflowing with Christmas gifts. The Dickens Christmas Fair is a treasured Bay Area tradition since 1970 and a splendid way to celebrate the holidays.

    Enter the world of Charles Dickens and revel in a Victorian London where it is always Christmas Eve and the streets resound with celebrations of the Season! Lively calls of street vendors ring out above the crowd and mingle with holiday carolers; tempting aromas of roasted chestnuts and hearty foods fill the air; enticing shops overflow with one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts.

    To recreate old London town, they transformed over three acres of vintage exhibition halls. Hundreds of costumed characters from genteel to boisterous bring the town to life and interact with patrons.

    Celebrated the holidays at the Hyatt Regency Tree and Atrium Lighting Celebration at 7 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014, immediately following the Embarcadero Lighting Ceremony.

    The magical tree and interior lighting ceremony is one of the holiday traditions at Hyatt Regency. Do not miss out the moment to see all 300,000 cascading lights lit up the entire atrium on 11/21!

    The one hour program will feature MCs Jack and Charly from KOIT Radio and entertainment from:

    * Glide Memorial Choir
    * Meshuga Nutcracker, a humorous Klezmer-ized orchestration of Tchaikovskys Nutcracker Suite
    * Young Peoples Symphony Orchestra Brass Section

    Additionally, a Make A Wish kid will be in attendance to help flip the switch for the 300,000 lights that illuminate dramatic 17-story atrium lobby, culminating in the lighting of the 30-foot tree.

    Back by popular demand, the legendary Snow Village will be on display, encompassing over 1,000 pieces, ranging from traditional holiday-inspired collectibles to entertaining motion-oriented exhibits.

    Embarcadero Center was brightening the holidays this year with the 28th Annual Building Lighting Ceremony andCarnival! A perfect event to share with the family, the Building Lighting Carnival kicked off at 4:00pm with a host of fun activities for the kids; including carnival games, face painting, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, interactive arts and crafts booths, balloon twisters, musical performances, a very special appearance by Mickey Mouse, and more!

    At 5.30/6.00pm, gathered around the Holiday Ice Rink Presented by Hawaiian Airlines for live ice skating and musical performances, followed by a sneak peek performance from Disney on Ice presents Lets Celebrate! Then tilted head to the sky for a dazzling pyrotechnic (fireworks) spectacular, designed to complement the highlight of the evening – the initial lighting of Embarcadero Centers office towers, with a dramatic illumination of San Franciscos skyline, featuring 17,000 lights throughout the holiday season.

    So next time bring your kids, your cameras, and your holiday spirit, because the Building Lighting Ceremony and Carnival will be the must attend event of the holiday season!

    The annual Green Festival can draw more than 30,000 people a day to learn about sustainability.

    Green Festival is a vibrant, dynamic marketplace where companies and organizations come to showcase their green products and services, and where people go to learn how to live healthier, more sustainable lives.

    Shuttles for the San Francisco Green Festival will run 9am – 7pm on 11/15 and 11/16 at the Civic Center BART Station across from the Hotel Whitcomb on the hour. And drop off at the Ft. Mason Firehouse.

    The Green Festival Community Award provides a $5,000 grant to the best community project selected by attendees before and during Green Festival. The awards are presented at each Green Festival event.

    The Federation of Indian Associations is a Fremont based umbrella non-profit organization. It consists of over 40 member organizations.

    The FIA proudly hosted the annual Festival of India and Parade for the last eleven years. This event has continued to garner participants from all over Northern California, and has attracted luminaries and dignitaries from all over the world.

    Every year, the attendance has grown and has allowed their communities, to get a better understanding of the culture, the arts, the music and foods of the Indian American community and allow our communities to further strengthen our bonds with each other.
