Collectible decoys, sporting gear and adventures to delight every outdoorsman. Also scheduled are World Championship Calling Contests, decoy auctions, retriever, fly-fishing and stunt dog demonstrations, kids activities, and evening concerts. A festive atmosphere topped by great food and music make this event a must each November. Free parking and shuttle service.

  • Veterans Day(Parade) celebration – Bel Air Armory, Bel Air, MD, US – Pictures – Upcoming Video

    Harford County citizens have a long history of military service dating to the earliest colonial days. The history of Harford’s involvement is evident in the memorabilia and documents stored at the Historical Society of Harford County.

    This year on November 10th and 11th a celebration is planned to recognize this strong tradition by inviting the public to participate in a two day event at the Bel Air Armory.

  • Washington International Horse Show(Presidents Cup) – Verizon Center, Washington DC, US – Video

    Horse-crazy or not, if you like championship sport and fast-paced entertainment and fun, this is the event for you. An equestrian tradition since 1958, the Washington International Horse Show brings top horses and riders from the U.S. and abroad, including Olympic champions, to the nation’s capital to compete for more than $400,000 in prize money and championship titles. About 500 horses participate in show jumping, hunter and equitation events during the six-day show. Special exhibitions, shopping in more than 50 specialty boutiques and Kids’ Day on Saturday, round out this family-friendly show.

  • Washington International Horse Show(Presidents Cup) – Verizon Center, Washington DC, US – Pictures – Upcoming Video

    Saturday, Oct. 29 Evening (7:00-10:30 pm)

    You may spot a future Olympian among the riders in the WIHS Equitation Classic Finals, where the top junior riders compete for the championship. Show jumping culminates with the $100,000 President’s Cup Grand Prix. This class will have the biggest jumps of all the classes and attracts the top horses and riders, including Olympic veterans. Riders will also gain valuable points to qualify for the World Cup Finals in April.

  • Field of Screams – Scream City – Maryland Halloween Event, Olney, MD, US – Pictures – Upcoming Video

    Visit the place for amazing surprises. We are not showing the inside pictuers because you have to feel them by visiting!

    The Field of Screams is a Halloween event in Olney, Maryland with four great haunts in one location: a 30-minute walk through a Haunted Trail, a two-story Haunted House, a 10-acre Corn Maze and a Haunted Hayride. Several new scary attractions have been added this year including the Slaughter House, Funhouse, Voodoo Hut and the Infested House of Roaches and Snakes.

    The Halloween event is a carnival atmosphere with bonfires and music to appeal to all ages. Visitors can enjoy unique snacks such as deep fried Twinkies and Oreos with chocolate sauce and roast-your-own-s’mores over an open fire. The younger crowd will enjoy the corn maze, hayride, face painting and pumpkin patch.

  • Ramachandra Vijayotsava(Dussera/Ramlila) – ISKCON, Catonsville(Baltimore), MD, US – Video

    On the tenth day of the waxing moon of Padmanabha (Asvina) month, occurs Vijayotsava. On this day Lord Ramachandra heard from Hanuman beneath the sami tree that he had found and seen Sita on the Island kingdom of Lanka. Hearing this, Lord Ramachandra held a festival, and then set out for Sri Lanka. On this day one may perform special puja (worship) of Lord Ramachandra and then in His honor feed the Vaisnavas. This is a popular festival in northern India, where, on this occasion, large paper effigies of the demon king Ravana are burned to the resounding chants of Victory to Rama, Victory to Rama.
