  • Sri Vara sidhi Vinayaka Temple, Kanipaakam, Chittoor, AP, India – Video

    In Chittoor district are two sacred places not only for Andhra Pradesh but also for India. Tirupati and Tirumala here is Lord Venkateswara, who is also worshipped as `Balaji’ by the north Indians. Tirumala lies in the midst of the Seshachalam hills, which are 2,000 feet above the sea level. It has also worldwide importance as a major tourist centre.

    Srikalahasti is also a famous pilgrim centre and the temple here is dedicated to Lord Siva known as Vayulingam and considered as Dakshina Kasi.Apart from those two temples there is another famous temple in chittoor district that is Sri Vara sidhi Vinayaka/Ganesh Temple which is significant for its purity and rich heritage.

  • Sri Mahalaksmi Golden Temple(Vellore), Sripuram, TN, India – Video

    Sripuram – The Golden Temple was built in a short span of 7 years. It was inaugurated on August 24, 2007. The consecration ceremony was witnessed by thousands of devotees. Since then, the temple has attracted hundreds of thousands of devotees; often breaching the 1 lakh mark on special occasions.

  • Sri Kalahasteeswara swami vari temple, Sri Kalahasti, AP, India – Video

    Srikalahasti temple is a holy place near Tirupati in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.It is located on the banks of the river Swarnamukhi, a tributary of the river Pennar. Site where Kannappa, one of the 63 Saivite Nayanars, was ready to offer both his eyes to cover blood flowing from the Siva linga before the Lord Siva stopped him and granted mukti.

    This temple was constructed in the 12th century by the Chola king, Rajarajendra. Vayu incarnated as Lord Shiva and is worshipped as Kalahasteeswara. This temples main idol is the vayu (air) linga.

    It is famous for Sri Mallikarjuna swamy and Kamakshi amma temple constructed in the year 1150. The goddess Kamakshi is believed as an incarnation of Shakti. A -Sri Chakram- was installed here by Sri Jagadguru Adhi Sankaracharya.

  • Sri Vedagiri Lakshmimarasimha Swamy devastanam(Narasimha Konda – Nellore), Jonnawada, AP, India – Video

    Vedagiri Lakshmimarasimha Swamy devastanam came into being nearly 500 years ago, on the summit of Narasimhakonad. According to the rock inscriptions, this temple was built by the Pallava king Narsimha Varma in the ninth century.

    Legend goes that the sage Kasyapa established the temple on the bank of Pinakini. And the vedic scripture Brahma Puranarevealsthat the seven sages (Saptarishis) performed -yagnam- (Sacrifice) on the top of Narasimhakonda. The seven (Koneru) tanks were renovated with Mandapas on the hilltop .

  • Sri Talpagiri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Nellore, AP, India – Video

    The Sri Ranganthaswami Temple in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha a resting form of Lord Vishnu.

    This temple, also called Talpagiri Ranganathaswami temple or Ranganayakulu is one of the oldest temples in Nellore. It is located on the banks of the Penna River and is believed to have been constructed in the 12th century.

  • Sri Durga MalleswaraSwamy varla Devastanams(Indrakeeladri), Vijayawada, AP, India – Video

    Goddess Kanaka Durga manifested herself (Swayambhu) on the hillock known as Indrakeeladri situated on the left Bank of River Krishna at Vijayawada. The origin of this shrine is known to be of 8th century. The temple was constructed during the Regime of Mogalaya rulers. According to Sthalapuranam, Mogalaya Ruler Thanisha with the assistance of his Ministers Akkanna and Madanna managed the temple with head quarters at Kondapalli.

    Mangalagiri means The Auspicious Hill. This place is one of the 8 important Mahakshetrams (sacred places) in India. The eight places where Lord Vishnu manifested himself are (1) Sri Rangam (2) Srimushnam (3) Naimisam (4) Pushkaram (5) Salagamadri (6) Thothadri (7) Narayanasramam (8) Venkatadri. Thotadri is the present Mangalagiri. Lakshmi Devi has done tapas on this hill. That’s why it got this name (The auspicious hill). There are three Narasimha Swamy temples in Mangalagiri. One is Panakala Narasimha Swamy on the hill. Another one is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at the foot of the temple. Third one is Gandala Narasimha Swamy at the top of the hill.

Vodarevu beach is fairly famous with tourists regularly, this too is a nice getaway from the movement and hustle of city life.   • Sri Trikoteswara Swamy Temple(Narsaraopet), Kotappakonda, AP, India – Video

    Kotappakonda, the temporal abode of Trikoteswara Swamy, is a village, 13 kilometers south-west of Narsaraopet in Guntur district. Its original name is Kondakavuru, but is more popularly known as Kotappakonda or Trikutaparvatam, a three-peaked hill nearby. Though surrounded by other hills, the three hills, also known by the names of Trikutachalam or Trikutadri, can be distinctly seen from a distance from any direction.
