The area includes a protected, driftwood-strewn estuary at the back of a wide, sandy beach – with grassy bluffs along the coast. The estuary is home to many birds and small animals. The beach is located 10.5 miles south of Half Moon Bay on Highway 1.

The temple was originally established in a small wood framed house in San Francisco, California, way back in 1957, by an American born Hindu guru, Sivaya SubramuniyaSwami. It may have been the first Hindu Temple to be opened in America.
Offering Pujas to murtis of Ganesha, Muruga and Shiva, it was founded on the traditions of Saiva Siddhanta and known as the Palaniswami Sivan Temple.
In 1988, to better facilitate the Hindu community, the temple was moved to a larger site in Concord, CA.

Mount Rose Summit is a mountain pass located in the Carson Range near Mount Rose and Slide Mountain northeast of Incline Village. The 8,911 ft (2,716 m)-high pass is traversed by State Route 431, which is the highest point of the highway and the highest mountain pass open year-round in the Sierra Nevada.
The saddle itself features a parking lot and a small building which both serve as a highway stop. A closed dirt road leading to the Mount Rose Ski Resort ends near the northern section of the summit.

Kings Beach State Recreation Area features 979 feet of beautiful frontage property along the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. This day-use only area has a large sandy beach and multiple picnic tables under the shade of Jeffery pines.
It is with 18 picnic tables, barbeques, restrooms, a playground, a half court for basketball, fishing, and water sport activities available.
It is located in downtown Kings Beach, between Bear and Coon streets on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The park is approximately one mile west of the Nevada State Line and thirteen miles southeast of Truckee, CA from Highway 267.

The largest alpine lake in North America, Lake Tahoe is a cobalt blue lake atop the Sierra Nevada mountain range. On its eastern shores, gently sloping beaches, crystal-clear water and interesting rock formations allow for wonderfully sublime swimming, kayaking and scuba diving at Sand Harbor.
Boaters, water-skiers and fisherman can easily launch from one of the park two ramps. Visitors who would like a peaceful retreat from surf and sun can picnic in the shade of cedars and Jeffrey pines in one of many picnic sites equipped with barbecues and tables.
The park also hosts the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival every summer. The parking lots are often full from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on summer weekends and weekdays during July and August. Reno is a city in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is in Northern Nevada, approximately 22 miles (35 km) from Lake Tahoe.
Known as -The Biggest Little City in the World-, Reno is famous for its hotel and casinos and as the birthplace of Harrahs Entertainment.
Reno is the third most populous city in the state after Las Vegas and Henderson. Downtowns National Automobile Museum showcases more than 200 vintage cars. The MidTown District is lined with shops and restaurants. North of downtown, Animal Ark is a sanctuary for rescued bears, cheetahs and other wildlife.
Before the late 1950s, Reno was the gambling capital of the United States, but in the last 20 years Las Vegas took that place. Because of its location, Reno has traditionally drawn the majority of its California tourists and gamblers from the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, while Las Vegas has historically served more tourists from Southern California and the Phoenix area.
